Apple to Launch New iPad Pro and iPad Air Models Soon
According to a recent report, Apple is rumored to be launching new devices, with the focus being on the iPad Pro and iPad Air models. This comes shortly after the company released new MacBook Air models, following previous reports of upcoming releases.
Mark Gurman from Bloomberg shared this information in his Power On newsletter, stating that Apple is preparing to launch revamped iPad Pros, new iPad Airs (including a 12.9-inch version), a Magic Keyboard, and an upgraded Apple Pencil. He suggests that we can expect to see this new hardware by the end of March or in April, coinciding with the release of the accompanying iPadOS 17.4 software.
New iPad Pro Models with Significant Upgrades
Reports indicate that Apple may introduce two new iPad Pro models with significant upgrades. These tablets are expected to be equipped with the M3 chipset and feature new OLED displays in a slimmer body. Additionally, a revamped rear camera module, a landscape-oriented front camera, and support for MagSafe wireless charging could also be added. If these reports are accurate, this would be the first major upgrade for the iPad Pro in five years.
New iPad Air Models and Other Accessories
In addition to the new iPad Pro models, two new iPad Air models are also expected to debut. These models are said to be powered by the M2 chipset and will include a landscape-oriented front camera. The highlight of these new models is rumored to be Apple’s first-ever 12.9-inch iPad Air.
Alongside the new iPads, Apple is also expected to introduce a new Magic Keyboard with a larger trackpad and a new Apple Pencil. These accessories will enhance the functionality and user experience of the iPad Pro and iPad Air models.
New Feature for AirPods Pro
According to the report, the AirPods Pro may also receive a new feature, but it is expected to arrive later this year. This new feature, known as the ‘hearing aid mode,’ will be added alongside the iOS 18 update. While details about this mode are not yet known, the name suggests that it could be an accessibility feature designed to assist individuals with impaired hearing.
Overall, Apple enthusiasts can look forward to the launch of new iPad Pro and iPad Air models, along with other accessories such as the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil. The addition of a potential new feature for the AirPods Pro further demonstrates Apple’s commitment to innovation and enhancing the user experience across its product lineup.
